The Good Dog
I’ve always loved dogs, but our family didn’t have any pups of our own until I was twelve. It was only after a trip to Hawaii that we adopted one of our cousin’s yellow labs, Honey Girl, who we subsequently renamed Kona. Sadly, she passed at a young age. Our next yellow lab was a young puppy I named, Blitz. She was energetic and spry with a taste for adventure. She lived a full and healthy life to the ripe old age of sixteen. Before her passing, I decided to adopt my own from the pound; Norma Jean, a two-year-old black lab from Coos Bay. [Insert her pound bio here] and I renamed her Papillon, or Papi for short. She’s now in her 15th year and just hanging on.

2016 was a year of transition for me. I founded The Good Dog
